Squee, that's so adorable. I love owls. Prefer snow owls but now I'm rethinking that. You did awesomely, DIW. One of these days I wanna watch you stream something like this, I can't believe that only took you two hours. It would have taken me months and not been anywhere half as good.
Barn owls are not lovely; they're Beautiful.
I'm very impressed with your textures. This has an unearthly, divine vibrancy to it that I just love, especially the face, while still feeling very realistic. The near wing doesn't feel quite right, but that could be that I've never seen an owl in that pose from that angle - what reference(s) did you use?
In any case, absolutely beautiful and absolutely stunning. A definite favorite!
