He was the shining golden example of what America was about. Protecting the weak, behaving with honour above all and always doing the right thing even if it was difficult and thankless. Proving that he was too good for what America has become. I know it's stupid to feel anything about a costumed superhero but America has very few real heroes left. Comic book heroes are the legends of our time and ultimately, only kept around because they turn a profit.

A friend drew Cap. looking onto the shadow of the fallen twin Towers bout 9 years ago.. all airbrush... a guy from the city council saw it... asked to buy it... my friend refused.... when he finsihed it an city council kept offering money.... he donated it... it hangs at the Town hall now in a huge frame... the painting is six feet tall.
