..if it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of the hallway beyound your living room.. is just a freight train coming your way... I regret to inform you that you might have build the rail tracks at an inconvenient position that may be of bother during tea... please do review your clovers.. they may be out of leaves.... ;P
There used to be a toy robot that followed a line drawn on the floor. You could erase and redraw the lines. Maybe put in an optical sensor where it doesn't cross that line the user makes. Just make the line tight or it would bump back and forth inside the ring all night.
That is a pretty impressive pooltoy, the fact that it can get that large shows great engineering in and of itself!

Reading the Hazmat sticker... Slightly hazardous, Fire hazard if heated over 200f, Violent chemical reaction, and an Oxydizer? I'm guessing that is the batteries?
