Alright, first off, thankies!! Really like how this turned out, especially the cobra-hood style stripe.

you are right about his back looking a bit like pecs. i think you indeed made his big shoulder muscles to sound with the shade and the lighting. i must say that it still looks more like a normal muscular back then one were pecs have been transplanted onto. also the pic still looks awesome even if you made a little error in the shade and lighting of his back. ^.=.^

Yeah, the only problem is that, I get some many journal enteries, that I don't pay much attention to them.

Probably the best artists to reference would be IceWolf or Bradford0005. Both of them are extremists on following correct muscle structure. Once you've learned where everything is, it's easier to get a feel for stylizing things much like how Cooner does it. Backs are wildly difficult, and contain a ton of different muscles. Just keep working on it, you can do it.
