I managed to snag a YCH slot from a few weeks ago. I meant to post it sooner, but my brain wouldn't let me remember.

It's just little Ike posing for one of his baby pictures. One of the few mementos from before he was put up for adoption that had positive memories attached to it. From before the shouting matches started. From before he knew what guilt felt like. From before he felt like his parents put themselves before him and his happiness. From before he resented his stripes for being a part of why everything happened, and came to terms with them and the fact that they were something that he didn't have any control over.

Man, this all sounds really depressing. Don't worry about Ike though. He get's adopted by a super awesome, super kind family of gorillas. They even have a super cool dragon named Kevin that they also adopted. He's around Ike's age, and even has similar stripes to his own.

Alright, that's enough exposition about Ike's back story for right now. I have something I'm trying to flesh out, that goes into more detail. Here's hoping it doesn't take years to get done.
