Im still trying to get Utau to display properly, I just got a bunch of gibberish right now. I know I need more vocal sounds, too. I just got the basics right now, not the more complex sounding things.
Does utau need wav files? XD

To get it to not show gibberish, you gotta set your computer's region locale to japan, but that only makes it so you can see jap characters <XD but its easy to remember wheres what. And yes, utau needs wav files XD

Now all I need is an MMD model =w=

I don't think they have one, and I tried the regional settings thing already, my husband says that I need a special font. I say "screw it"
enough tutorial videos will have me knowing whats where. XD

special font would be a certain windows pack, service pack 2 or something like that, theres tutorials for that too XD

also, yeah the UST files timing is off, I think if you went in and extended some of the notes it wouldn't sound so off. yoru Utau is just fine, the best sounding one Ive heard with a boys voice. The second half of the song sounds fine timing wise though... still listening..
yeah, they got the long notes in the right places, but the shorter notes and words are coming and ending early.
Other than that. Congratultions on yoru new Utau! :D

Yeam I noticed that the usts were off XD so i thought i'd fix him up a bit. Based off of my base voice, he can't sing where I can't either XD I thought that was nifty. He's gonna be a better singer than me :' XDD

but yeah this is AWESOME! Most Utau music I hear is way too robotic and harsh and this was incredible considering it being your first time using it

I'd say its a mimic program of Vocaloid. It's like vocaloid but it's quality is less I think, but it's free, and you can make your own Utauloid, which is what people call the creations of Utau. The most notable Utauloid is Kasane Teto.

Cool! I've seen Vocaloid stuff before, and when I heard this, I noticed the similarities. ^.=.^

I don't really know japanese myself, not much anyway. Utau is actually kinda easy to use once you get the hang of it, even if you can't read japanese. Helps to have youtube tutorials lol

Oh wow, that is pretty something. Though in my opinion I like Utau and Vocaloid for their android quality rather than trying to be more realistic, or realistic with and android quality, kinda like SF-A2 Miki, I think her full name is. But that's just my preference ^^; But it is nice :3

Siiiince I know nothing about the oto I'd rather not mess with it ^^; though I did get an offer to have one made, which I may take up that offer ^^ But the Triphones thing, yeah.. And I thought making the basic voicebank was tedious ^^; Dunno if I'd try.

And as for the samples, I thought they were supposed to be short? So yeah, if I remember right, I made them about the same length as Defoko's, more or less ^^;

But I don't do too much with my utau, I've been more into MMD, and I use my utau when I want to have a song and dance ^^; If there is a dance to that song that is <XD
