A jolt of pain ran through him suddenly, jarring his back, and he yelped in surprised pain. Had he sprained something? But the pulling sensation continued and deepened, somehow, fading back from pain; and his eyes widened still further, the cloth falling from his hands. The sensation, although *almost* still painful… didn’t feel bad. Just weird, intense, not even entirely unpleasant…!

He gave a gasp of shock as he felt the strange sense of *weight* from his spine, and he turned his head… to see a tail several inches long, pushing out of his body.

A tail!?!
