SPOOKY SEASON STARTS RIGHT THE FUCK NOW
With that said, I was trying to come up with a Halloweenish character that WASN'T a spider (since that felt too easy.)
And if you've ever seen a Centipede in action, you know they're pretty got'damn scary so that's what this guy morphed into.
A dapper gentleman who'd kindly invite you to stay in his home, admire his galleries of artwork, has an elegant speaking voice, and is probably planning to eat you, bones and all, the moment you take your eyes off of him. Which, barring that last part, he does sound fairly nice.
I also just imagine literally having Voltaire's voice, which was unsurprisingly what I had on loop while drawing him.
