For those curious, this is an old (circa 2005) drawing of the Starhunter, aka Rapthor -- Darkthunder's brother. Actually, there were six hatchlings in that clutch.
After getting discharged from the Patrol, Rapthor kept looking for a stable way to make a living. Eventually he found it, as leader of a very small and rather quaint group of saurians. He gets paid for transporting cargo, using a very fast and sleek ship.
The symbol on his shoulder belongs to a very rich group of spikefrills, one of which gave Rapthor the ship. Not gonna go into those details, as it would be a VERY long description and I have no time for that. Or for doing anything related to that graphic novel.
A bit of trivia -- Darkthunder originally had a different name; he was named after one person's last name, as I found it rather peculiar. But some events happened that bear no mention here, so I changed it. In the process, I made Darkthunder's skin black (Rapthor's is beige) and came up with the name, which I thought was too cool not to use; though if you have done a Google search, you will find a million Darkthunders around. :P
In the process, I had terrorclaws take names by combining two words that in some way reflect a physical trait or bit of their personality.
