His left eye is pure green due to his magic research. He's 'blind' in that eye, but he can see poisons with it if he focuses magic into it. He has been missing since Zest, his son, was 11. He's able to possess people with his poison magic for a limited time, but they have to have poison in their system first, in which he'll use Bacent in this way. (Bacent has a higher poison tolerance than most do normally, but it still affects him, so Duhir uses Bacent to pass on messages or speak with the family)
