A little-known fact is that Lai's celestial element is "light." Back when I originally designed the character, the body that you perceive is actually just a physical shell, and these "celestial dragons" inhabited them as a pure form of cosmic energy. When pressed, they can call on their element for offense or defense. Lai, being a light dragon, hurls orbs or fires beams of light.
