Notice how the thumbnail doesn't show off the scan lines...
So I got bored and thought "this will be easy to make" and holy crap I was wrong. It took me an hour and a half to figure out how to get the scanlines to look nice, and another ten minutes to get the contrast, gamma, saturation, and brightness of the green just right.
The blurred scanline effect makes this background look good on any desktop no matter how giant your monitor is.
What do you think? Ugly or pretty? Cool or dull?
