Actually, you can get skins for just about anything.
Skinit.com has skins for lots of stuff, from phones on up, and you can use one of their designs or upload your own. They have a layout tool and preview and everything: http://www.skinit.com/selectDevice.php
There's also SkinStyler, which focuses on the surface area of Mac laptops (trackpad skins, wrist-rest skins, etc): http://www.skinstyler.com/

no, it's there because once the design is on his actual laptop, the apple has to be incorporated into the design. . . being as it's actually ON the laptop
