Well, folks, here we are! After a month's wait, it's about time I get something other than art commissioned from someone else in this gallery! This is a large departure from my usual style of writing, both in character and setting, so there'll no doubt be some hiccups along the way, but, hey, gotta start somewhere!

Fun Facts;
- This isn't actually the first thing I've written featuring Salvia. This is actually an idea I came up with as I finished that other chapter, which has gotten pushed a little farther down the timeline.
- Contessa is based on a feline I own in real life, in name, breed, and appearance!
- I did more research on paramedic procedures than I would care to admit just for the opening of this chapter. ^^;
