The credits were rolling on another OVA, the third that evening, and Gemie was a little glad of it. It had been another giant mecha anime, and she was pretty certain she had seen enough of those to last several lifetimes. The leopard, curled up on one end of the couch, still smiled at the red wolf across from her, JT, as she nudged him. Some obscure, hard to follow was worth it to her, just to see him give her that dopey smile. JT, on the other hand, was so glad Gemie had suggested this. He never got to share these old anime, with anyone! And he was thrilled she seemed to love it as much as he did. At least, she said she did.
“Wow… I hadn’t seen Giant Miss Cybernetics in years! I forgot how good the fight scenes were,” JT grinned, stretching his arms and draping them over the couch. “You liked it, right?”
“Hm? Oh, yeah, of course!” Gemie scooted a little closer, flicking her hand to send out just enough magic to clear up the empty take out boxes. She was a little bewildered; JT had eaten two orders of shrimp fried rice, and it barely made a dent on his lithe body. Where did he put it all? “The fight scenes were my favorite, too.” She leaned in a little closer, resting her head against JT’s arm as she played with a strand of hair. “So, what do we do now?”
“Oh! Well, I think I’ve got Lost Calamity Suits somewhere. You’ll love it, it’s a lot like Giant Miss!”
“Or! Or,” Gemie was quick to reach in the bag she had been hiding, pulling out a cake box. “We could always have some dessert.”
“Aw, Gem,” JT opened it, grinning a little wider. “It’s triple chocolate, oof. My favorite, but did you use, y’know…” he waved his hand in the air in a mysterious looking movement.
“I bought it at the bakery, you dork.” She hit his shoulder with the lid. “Do you want to call the Spanish Inquisition to check for black magic, first?”
“Well, I’m just saying, the last time you used magic to make a treat I wished for, I put on, like, a hundred pounds. Thank god it wore off, right? I looked like a furry red balloon!” JT chuckled, already tucking into the cake.
“Hah, yeah, that was… my bad…” Gemie may or may not have known what that strawberry rhubarb pie would’ve done, and may or may not have taken her sweet time getting JT back to his normal size. The thought of his cute, not-so-little tush filling out those XXL jeans got her through a few lonely nights…
“Mm,” JT leaned back, closing his eyes as he savored the flavor. After a lull, he sighed. “You know, I always wanted to see Japan. I know, that’s like… the most weebish thing to say, but it’s a really cool country. Beautiful cities, lots of history, great food… we could have fun there, right?”
Gemie lit up a bit. “Well, we can always go, if you really want to. I just have to snap my fingers, and…”
“Gemie, no, I couldn’t ask you to do that.” JT shook his head, having finished off the cake. “Isn’t that some super draining magic for you, trasnlocating to the other side of the world? You’d be out like a light for days.”
“Well…” the leopard pouted. “Okay, so, we just have to save up.”
“Yeah…” JT shook his head. “But with the rent, repairing my car, student loans…” he waved his hand. “Don’t worry about it for now. Some things just aren’t meant to be.”
“What? C’mon, you don’t have to say that,” the leopard nudged him again. “We’ll get there.”
“Yeah, in a couple of years. Maybe.” JT shook his head. “Ah, never mind. It was a stupid thing to say. I wouldn’t know what to do in Japan. I barely know the language, I can’t even use chopsticks…” he threw up his hands. “It’s just not in the cards.” He stood up, stretching. “Ugh. I forgot how late it is. I think I’m going to start getting ready for bed.”
“Oh, well, good night, JT.”
“Night, Gem.”
The leopard, still curled up on the couch, frowned a bit. She had the red wolf pegged after rooming with him for so long, and everything screamed that he really wanted to go to Japan. He was right about the magic use; there was no way she could handle transporting them across an entire ocean, just like that, without being bedridden for a couple days. Genies like her had the power to grant wishes, but big wishes took a lot out of them. The three wishes rule was there for a reason. She drummed her fingers for a bit, thinking. If she couldn’t bring JT to Japan… maybe she could bring Japan to JT?
Gemie didn’t need as much sleep as a mere mortal like her roommate; she spent well into the early hours of the morning researching Japanese culture online, to do something really nice for her friend. But then, she discovered a traditional Japanese sport simply called “Sumo Wrestling.”
She couldn’t believe what she read. She knew professional wrestlers bulked up, but this? This was perfect! How had she never heard of this before? The ritualistic nature of it was interesting in a tangential way, but the lifestyle! The constant eating, the huge amounts of food… and the inevitable results as she gazed over dozens of pictures of huge Sumo wrestlers with their mammoth guts, heavy, wide legs, and how their asses filled out their muwashis left her purring, her long tail swishing excitedly at the mental image of JT at that size, his sloshing, wobbling gut spilling over the cloth bands of his own, long-suffering muwashi.
Mere minutes before JT’s alarm would go off, Gemie slammed her laptop shut, a hungry smile spreading across her face as she started making a list of all the ingredients and supplies she would need.
That afternoon, when JT dragged himself home after a long day of work, the red wolf’s nose twitched. There was a delicious smell in the air, quickly followed by the sizzling of cooking meat. Leaning his head into the kitchen, JT’s jaw dropped. He looked over his shoulder to make sure he hadn’t accidentally entered the wrong apartment, but not before Gemie locked arms with him and dragged him into the room.
“Hey there, big guy!” the leopard grinned. “Glad you could make it. I hope you’re hungry.”
“H-hungry?” JT could only mouth as he was sat down at the table. The kitchen and living area of their apartment had a complete makeover. The main counter was crowded with bowls of tantalizing or spicy meats, raw fish, rice, sauces, seaweed wraps, and mochi. Lots of mochi. Red banners and paper lanterns with Japanese calligraphy hung from the walls- and was that a sliding screen where the door to his room used to be?
“You were talking about Japan last night, and because I can’t stand to see you moping for the next few days, I decided to bring a little bit of Japan to you. For the next few days, this apartment is now the Shibo-Okami stable.”
“Stable?” JT arched his brow. “Did we get a horse?”
Gemie chuckled, punching his arm. “No, you dork! A stable, like the places sumo wrestlers live. It’s like that anime we watched last night, My Sumo Academia.”
“Oh!” JT suddenly laughed. “I get it, cool. Well, gosh, Gemie, you didn’t have to go to all that troub- ulp!”
The leopard had shoved the first bit of sushi in his mouth. “Ah ah ah, I don’t want to hear it! This is a little something for you and I’m not gonna hear you tell me it’s too much.” Grinning broadly she waved a bit of mochi in front of his nose. “Now, just sit back and enjoy your little slice of Asia.”
JT’s eyes locked onto the mochi, nose twitching at the smell of the rice cake before he sank his teeth into it. The soft, malleable mass of doughy paste was delicious. A soft groan rose up as his tail began swishing around. The tantalizing smells of food were filling his nose. “Mmph, you have a point. I can’t let this effort go to waste.”
“Now that’s what I like to hear! Here, try some of the seaweed wrap, I wanna make sure I got it done properly”, Gemie flicked her tail back and forth, glad that JT was finally starting to get into it.
The leopardess spent the better portion of the evening doling food into the wolf’s mouth, lightly rubbing his slowly filling belly as JT gulped down every scrap he was offered. From time to time he seemed to slow down, but the feline simply added a bit of magical “effort” to the next few morsels, and it wasn’t long before whatever was placed in the wolf’s mouth was gone. Gemie couldn’t help testing a few of the treats herself; even she was surprised how well the food had turned out, snapping up her own fair share. She still couldn’t figure out chopsticks to save her life, however.
After an incredibly heavy meal to feed a small army, JT was groaning and rubbing at his overstuffed stomach, panting a bit from how tight it felt. “Oh jeez...think I overdid it on the mochi...or maybe the sushi. Or really everything.” Stifling a burp he blushed and licked his lips. “But really, thanks for this Gemie. It’s really sweet of you.”
The genie smiled broadly and lightly patted on JT’s belly. Her own middle was bulging a bit from the meal, pressing against the elastic of her pants. “Hey, don’t you worry about it. Like I said, didn’t want to see you mopey.” Her eyes flicked across the lupine’s delightfully swollen middle before she chuckled. “Next couple of days will be fun.”
“I’m sure they will be, Gemie, but for now,” JT broke into a wide yawn, rubbing at his eyes. “I think I need to get to bed, feel pretty groggy after that meal. I can help clean up first, though.” Grunting softly he began to rise up.
The leopardess swiftly got to her feet, steering him toward his bedroom. “Go rest, I’ve got this. And before you insist, yes, I’m absolutely sure. Now sleep!” Swatting the wolf on the rump got a soft yelp of shock before he chuckled and walked into his bedroom.
Gemie hummer softly to herself as she started to clean up. As she loaded some into the sink, she straightened up and frowned, then snapped her fingers. Instantly, the dishes began flying into the dishwasher. She sometimes forgot she could do that.
With the mess taken care of, she began to muse. So far, her friend was definitely in a better mood. The fact he had so eagerly dug into that meal was just more good news for her. She pulled her laptop out, tapping through a few pages she had saved before smiling broadly. Sure JT was asleep so he couldn’t join her in doing some of the exercises she’d found for sumo, but it didn’t mean she couldn’t have fun with it. If she was going to have the apartment as a stable at least she could really get into the routine.
The following morning JT woke a little early to the smell of more food wafting into his bedroom. Groggily moving into the main living area he gawked at yet another sprawling meal that had been laid out, Gemie grinning at him. “Uh...so I’m guessing round two?” He gulped a little as the leopardess nodded.
“Like I said, for a few days. So why don’t you take a seat and enjoy a nice meal before work?” The feline glanced over her roomie, seeing that he was already looking a bit softer around the edges after the meal the night before. She had no intention of letting him head off to work without being stuffed to the gills. Her own body was just a touch thicker as well, the meal from the night before and sampling some as she cooked was helping fill her frame out.
By the time JT was finished eating he was huffing and puffing while he was getting dressed, having to struggle to button his jeans and button his shirt before heading for the door. “Okay Gemie, I’ll catch you later!”
“Oh, before you head out I made you a lunch to take with!” Gemie shoved a large cooler into the wolf’s hands, winking at him. She’d joined in on the meal again, her belly stretching her shirt slightly. “Have a good day at work!”
After JT left Gemie got down to business with another round of exercises. The only surprise that came that day was JT coming home for lunch when it turned out he had finished what she packed and his shirt and pants weren’t quite holding up well. It was almost impossible for her to hold back her excitement over the little fashion faux pas. It also gave her an excuse to give him a more filling lunch to go with her own large meal.
Sick days were a blessing as time passed. Gemie’s unceasing cooking and fervent feeding were doing a number on the wolf. What started as a bit of extra plush was quickly becoming outright fat. JT’s cheeks began to puff up as a new chin formed, and then a second. His arms and legs grew thick with soft mass, even his fingers growing plump. The slight potbelly billowed out into a large, sagging cauldron of blubber, rolls bunching up at his sides while a wide rump filled the couch where he spent more and more time. Anything more than walking from his room to the couch tuckered out the lard laden lupine, his movements down to a slow, laborious waddle that caused his belly to jostle with each step. He was happy that he had saved the old pants that his roommate had bought the last time he had puffed up, but XXL rapidly became a bit tight for him.
Gemie wasn’t spared from the change either. In fact, during meals she was often eating as much as JT, happily feeding herself and the wolf. Her face rounded out, dimples forming whenever she smiled, which was frequently when she watched the wolf in motion. While her own limbs thickened, they weren’t just with fat. JT may have spent most of his time sitting and eating, but the genie had found she rather enjoyed the exercises for a sumo. Even as pounds packed onto her frame she wasn’t finding moving nearly as difficult as the lupine. She even found it fun that her own belly, while quite heavy and thick, didn’t quite sag as much as JT’s. That did nothing to stop her from choosing clothing that didn’t hide her swollen middle or the fact her chest had grown very prominent as well. Broad hips accentuated a large rump, as even her tail a bit thicker over the swell of the plush cheeks that spilled out from the shorts she had chosen to wear while she cooked.
It took a month or two until it finally dawned on Gemie that she might, possibly, have taken things a little too far. She was going through what had become her new daily ritual; after gorging on a massive breakfast with JT, she got to her morning exercises, her sheer weight making the floor creak.
“Hey, big guy, how’s my form?” Gemie teased, smacking her wide, voluminous rump, causing ripples across her wide, hoop-like hips and juicily over ripe, oversized thighs. It spread out, but the jiggling was shallow; her legs were solid and strong, and kept their form as she went through her squats, her thick, heavy belly spilling over her thighs as she went down. Her spots were stretched out over her enlarged form, and her tail rhythmically swished over her bulging curves, stretching out her long-suffering yoga pants. If there was one thing that could distract JT from his gorging, it was her voluptuous form.
Until today, that is. Feeling the burn as she lifted her own huge weight, the leopard looked up. “Big guy?”
JT didn’t reply. The red wolf was hunched over the huge spread crowding the kitchen table, grabbing fistfuls of food. Currently, he had a handful of noodles that he was dribbling into his mouth, and egg rolls waiting in his other hand.
“JT!”
“Hrmph?” The wolf looked over, heavy lids half-closed over his glazed over eyes. Gemie whistled low, looking him up and down as he greedily and noisily slurped up his noodles. For the feline genie, he was a delicious sight, but she was starting to get the sense that he might be craving her food a little too much. They had been pretty closely matched in weight, but now, JT definitely had pushed his weight further than she had. His belly spilled out over his lap, slamming into the table like a tsunami every time he reached for another tantalizing morsel, waves of soft, doughy flab lapping against the tabletop. His arms wobbled and jiggled as he snatched up some more savory shogayaki pork, his soft, pillowy chest bunched against multiple chins. All of this was supported on two chairs, his ponderously heavy rear spilling over the sides, chunky thunderthighs squishing into the rest of the furniture.
“You, uh… really hungry, huh?” Gemie smiled, dimpling her round cheeks.
“Uh-huh,” JT murmured, turning back to his gorging.
Gemie lumbered over, sashaying her hips a bit for the wolf’s benefit, putting on her best winning smile, the near hypnotic swaying of her many, many spots stretched across her obscenely curvaceous hips. “Hey, JT, Big Red,” she fluttered her lashes at him, digging her fingers into his multiple chins to pull his face back up to her. “You wanna have some fun?”
JT slurped up one last mouthful of noodles then gulped. “...Fun?”
Gemie forced a smile, pressing her thick arms against her overflowing chest. Her soft, billowing bust like a pair of luxurious pillows overflowed her arms, straining her plus-sized workout bra. She had never seen JT like this, but, hopefully, she could reel him back. “Yeah. We always have fun together, right?”
JT’s eyes went exactly where the leopard hoped they would. “Uh… yeah, always.”
Gemie’s eyes lit up as her smile widened, and she yanked the blubbery canine to his wobbly feet. “Alright, I got an idea. We’ve been living the sumo life for weeks, right?”
“Uh, right.”
“Wrong!” Gemie snapped her fingers, and then shoved the paper screen leading to JT’s room open. Only, the wolf’s messy room wasn’t there, but a full-sized sumo ring.
“W-what happened to my room?” JT stammered, Gemie digging deep into the folds of his love handles as she pushed him inside.
“We’ve been eating like sumos, but, we forgot one essential part- the wrestling bit.” Gemie grinned toothily, smacking her barrel-sized thigh. “So, watcha think, big guy, want to go through a fun sparring match?”
“But I was still hung-”
“Of course you do!” Gemie hooked her arm around JT’s, the two immensely weighty roommates trundling into the ring. “I wanna make our first round interesting, so… if you win, I’ll buy you whatever OVA’s you want. But if I win, you know how I’ve been making all the meals for the past few months?”
JT looked at the leopard guiltily, the huge, mile-long train of massive meals he had gorged himself on slowly sinking in. “Uh huh…?”
Gemie grinned. “Well. Maybe I want to be pampered a bit.” She bumped hips with JT, which looked more like two car bumpers hitting each other. JT staggered a bit, causing a fair bit of jiggling over his doughy frame from the impact. “I think I’ve earned it, right?”
“Ah, yeah, sure- of course!” JT cleared his throat. “Let’s, uhm… get started.”
The two lined up on opposite ends of the ring. Gemie took a near professional stance, her huge legs strong and solid enough to support her keg-like belly, even as her overly full breasts wobbled slightly, only held back by a long-suffering plus-size sports bra. She looked oddly formidable, from the her spots warped around arms thick as her old waist to the way her wide back supported her own love handles. She looked, for lack of a better word, solid, able to hold her pose still as a statue.
JT was having a bit more trouble. The wolf had a decent weight advantage on the leopard, but the constant gorging meant there had been no time to build up his strength. His wobbling thunder thighs shook to hold up his gelatin-like belly, and he had to puff out his round, chipmunk cheeks to catch his breath. His flabby, bulbous ass and his heavy love handles spilled over his ill-fitting miwashi. He had trouble remembering how he even got this on, but he was certain he didn’t want to relive it.
An unseen gong rang, and the two began circling each other. Gemie took the offensive, and their bellies collided like two water balloons bouncing off one another. JT’s weight advantage wouldn’t help him for long, as Gemie slammed into his doughy body like a wrecking ball. He had plenty of padding packed on to his obese frame to keep it from hurting, but he was losing his balance. Winking, Gemie hip-checked him, and the nearly spherical canine was felled like a particularly plush tree.
JT gasped, winded as his pillowy chest shakily rose up and down to catch his breath, his huge mass sprawled across his back. He barely had time to register what happened before Gemie clambered up his mountainous gut, smothering him with her own weight, her heavy legs lazily kicking against him as her voluptuous chest pressed down on his own, surging against his chins.
“So… that’s a win for me.” Gemie giggled, a free hand teasing JT’s love handles. “I think I’ll want breakfast in bed tomorrow.”
JT gulped. “Y-yeah, sounds great.”
“Aw, don’t look too sad, JT,” Gemie grinned. In her other hand, she produced an egg roll, dangling it in front of his mouth. “Trust me. I would never let you go hungry.”
