Orctober Tuskbuddy Exchange 2018 Entry
a.k.a. "True Orange"

Wow, first time in 3 years to post this.

My entry for
captaingerbear's Orctober Tuskbuddy Exchange 2018.
I'm thinking of something completely different this year. I drew a female orc in 1950s apparel and mannerisms. I had been planning in drawing a female orc for two years, and for the past year, I had been planning on a 80s-inspired female orc. But after listening to "True Blue" by Madonna, and after the song got stuck on my head, I went on to the 50s-inspired piece instead. My sources of inspiration were also ads of that time, with pretty and wholesome women showcasing the product at hand.
Since I'm also participating in Inktober, I'm going to mostly draw pieces in ink and ballpen. The rendering would be either in ink or rendered digitally. This piece is drawn in predominantly orange ink, with accents of red on the lips and nails, and black as the outline.
