I'm nervous about the new head having problems, so I got out the old Yejide head to take to ACFI just in case. The step-up module had been fritzing out, partly due to a damaged USB plug, and partly because the wires had been twisting where they entered the little black box and pulling out. So I cut up a cable and made a new pigtail out of it, and the cables are now zip tied down to the base of the box and also hot glued into place. Working great! Here's hope I don't have to use it! :)
