SUPPLIES!!!

This is Herr_Feldwebel's character Muriel the Boomerang Mother from her doujin story "Kevin Goes to Business School". She is Kevin's mother who wants nothing more than for him to succeed in his endeavors, despite the fact that he is shunned by the rest of the Koopa world for deciding to be a Business Brother after flunking Hammer School. The typical mom; always protecting her little baby and always has the last say on what happens in the household. It's so hard for me to pick favorites between Muriel and Kevin but I at least know that I freakin' love drawing Muriel!!

The beach idea came from a roleplay we're doing at the moment. Our main characters are testing the idea of going to the Dark Land beach to see if it's any different from the mainland (they're Toads trying to survive in racist Dark Land, long story).

As for actually drawing this... Holy. Shit. This took me somewhere around two to three days to finish. I've never really tried to do a background before either, so... I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!
