Vap: "I don't need a name."
Tera: "We're not going to entertain misconceptions that you're unhygienic, and 'yellow vaporeon' is more of a mouthful than you are."
Vap: *sigh* "Fine. Just nothing food-related, okay? I'm not trading a name that says 'do not put me in your mouth' for one that says 'oh, yes, do put me in your mouth'."
Tracy: "Understood."
Dory: "Can we call her Sparky?"
Tera: "Sparky? For a water-type?"
Tera Jr.: "Does anything with 'Honey' in it count as food-related?"
Tracy: "I think so."
TEN MINUTES LATER
Tracy: "Goldy?"
Tera: "No, trust me, we'll get 'golden shower' jokes up the yin-yang."
Vap: "Ugh. . . When you settle on something, I'll be over here when you're ready."
Ray: "How about Amber?"
Tracy: "That's a type of stone -- that's not really any good for a water type either."
Tera: "Plus it's a word commonly used to describe beer."
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
Vap: "Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z. . ."
Tera: "Hang on, I got an idea. Let me go look something up."
Allyson: "Hm? A yellow vaporeon. Does she have a citrus flavor?"
Dory: "Ooh! Lemony Snickett"
Ray: "No! No food names!"
ONE HOUR LATER
Tera: "Okay, so I looked up 'yellow water' online and. . . Well, saw a lot of stuff I didn't want to, but I did find an article about a river called the Animas that turned yellow."
Tracy: "Animas? Hmm. . . Well, it's the only name we've come up with that's water-related without also being food or toilet-related."
Tera: "Alright. Let's see if she li- SWEET ARCEUS!!!"
Allyson: "That vaporeon tasted funny. . ."
*sigh* And for all that, she didn't like the name 'Animas'. She said it sounded too much like 'enema'. -_-
Anyone else got any ideas for what to name a yellow vaporeon that are A) appropriate, B) not food-related, and C) not urine-related?

Y.V.: (O.S.) "Why the plural? It's just me." *leans into frame* "Hm. Well, nothing too overt in its meaning -- that is nice." *nudges Tera out of the chair* "Scoot over, lemme' try googling these."

Y.V.: "Okay, we have a barely-spoken language's word for 'yellow', a Turkish thunder god, and an Inuit deity eternally trying not to get raped." *jumps out of the chair* "Okay, I think you can guess which one I'm short-listing."
Tera: *sits back down at the computer* "The first one? Amar. . ." *frowns* "This seat is wet."

I know she said it was short-listed, but so far the only other suggestion to make it onto the proverbial short list since the Axew incident is Liotta, and that's because she's liable to end up bonded to my son, Ray, so. . .
