Inktober 4/31 Eldritch Influence
lol it's okay to pretend, but we all know this was the best Gollum. It's okay, you don't have to admit it ;D
I'm rather pleased with how this one turned out. This is actually my first time coloring a picture with my Prisma colored markers. I figured that trying something new and getting practice in was what the spirit of Inktober was all about, and I'm very glad I did! I'll need to practice, of course, but I think I'll try more of them in the future!

Hey, thanks for the fave! And given the nature of the ring, I'd assume it would have been something that happened over the course of a hundred or so years. I think Gollum had the thing for like 500 years straight! That kind of corrosive evil would have to be equally miserable in the way it affects people.
Oh god, I LOVED that vocal performance! You see him gradually evolve from this pitiable, listless, and almost curious if not somewhat malicious creature in what feels like a daze or stupor into a properly furious, paranoid, and homicidal madman that is entirely mentally unhinged! It gives this Gollum far more presence than the movie one (no offense to the actor or his performance), and makes him far more menacing and memorable as opposed to how silly the movie version feels.
