Some sketches from a while ago (2018-08-19), of an idea that popped into my head of Kree getting stuck in a Piranha plant TF (probably inspired by this entertaining Piranha plant TF sequence)

As adorable as this is, I held off on posting it for so long because I felt like I hadn't been able to capture the full idea. These are more concept sketches. If I could find the time it'd be fun to properly draw the full idea in a sequence/comic or something.

I had something in mind where the setting was a themed party in an obscure area of the Mushroom Kingdom, but with TFs instead of just regular costumes. The group Kree goes with springs the Piranha plant TF on him. He tries to protest, but they insist that everyone "has to be in costume".
During the party things just keep going downhill for him. He's got no eyes so he has to rely on his ears, which is terrible at a noisy party. He's stuck rooted in the pipe, so he can't even reach the snack table. He's just marooned awkwardly at the edge of the dance area. Since he's got nothing else to do (marooned away from snacks; plants can't dance), he tries shouting over the noise to ask for some help, only to accidentally shout way too loud when the music stops for a moment ("CAN I GET SOME CHIPS OVER HERE!"), and so the other party guests avoid him even more.

His "friends" try to get him drunk, which probably doesn't work out so well for plants, especially ones who spit fire. So mostly they just get him sick and barfing up fire. Then either his boisterous "friends" get real drunk and pass out, or they poor booze onto him to get him sick/drunk (or both), and due to everyone being so hung over they don't notice him as they drag themselves home, and he's too messed up and wilty from the alcohol instead of water to do anything.

So he only wakes up again weeks after the party has long since finished, when a thunderstorm revives him with some much-needed water. But now he's all alone, stuck rooted in that pipe, so he can't get this "costume" TF reversed. I imagine he'd get quite grumpy and irritable at getting left behind like that, and a bunch of other encounters just make it more annoying. For example maybe he spots Mario approaching and at first is thrilled someone is there to help, but since he's a piranha plant, Mario just jumps on/over (or fireballs him). Kree gets hot-headed about it and shoot fireballs, ruining his chance at a good impression (and rescue).

When his so-called "friends" finally realise that maybe they might've accidentally lost Kree somewhere… when they do come by he's so steaming mad at getting left there for months/years/whatever, that he accidentally chases them off with a volley of fireballs before they realize it's him.

(or alternatively, a winter comes by and wilts his ears away, making it even harder to be visually spotted when they go by. and afterwards, they decide to avoid "that angry piranha plant over there")

…and then eventually when they fiinnnnaallly do manage to find him, it's been too long so they've already gone and replaced him with a backup from the vending machine, so he's stuck as a lawn ornament in (the replacement) Kree's back yard…
