I was with a friend playing Persona 4 which is what inspired this. Kanji is my favorite character so far and I told her he looks like a german shepherd so as soon as I got home I started sketching and it turned into Kanji.
This took a lot of work on my part, and it doesn't look the way I completely imagined it, but I'd say I'm pretty happy with this. Yes, I did base the general pose on Kanji's official art.
