My semester-long project for technology class is to create a book, with a series of drawings that show the reality/fantasy side to a concept.
This concept was "hoarding," which was extremely fun to do. I've seen so many dogs hoard things like shoes and socks, and it totally reminds me of a dragon keeping a pile of gold at close hand. D:
I'm still not sure how I'm going to arrange the book, so I'm focusing more on painting what I need to get done first. :D So more to come soon!

Centra you're the man and this is genius. My one quip is so minor that it doesn't even need to be listened to, but it's a little hard to make out the details on the dragon's hoard pile. Maybe if the details were bigger, or the gold overlapped the dragon, like the dogs stuff does.

Aww... thank youuuu! 8D And you know, you do have a point! If I have time, I'll edit it to make the gold overlap a bit (and maybe emphasize the skulls a bit more). :D Thanks for pointing it out! (It's one of those cases where the large file makes it a bit easier to see the skulls, lol)

If I recall correctly there is something in Dante's Inferno that was to deal with a group of hoarders and a group of wasters trampling some guy pinned to a feild.

I haven't read Dante's Inferno, sadly. >> I'll have to pick it up sometime and see. (That does sound characteristic of the book, though!)
Aww... thanks again! All of them will have different concepts (so I don't get bored out of my damn mind), but I... I think I can make it! Dx 6-7 weeks left of class, so I plan to do 6-8 a week to make up for the time.

looks like a golden retriever, i had two growing up as a kind, and they loved socks, underwear, anything small and cloth they could get their teeth on to bring to people at the door, they always had to bring the person at the door(including me and my family) and socks were typically the only thing they could find
Yessss... that's so cute! I love retrievers and labs. C: My parents own a black lab (Squishy) who does the same thing... she'll freak out and desperately look for anything to bring you once you come to the door (which is usually a sock or a stuffed animal).
I wonder why they do that? It's adorable, but maybe it has a deeper meaning to them. XD
