Inktober 2018 - Drooling
Here's my Inktober drawing for the "Drooling" prompt. It is an image of a lone individual standing in front of the looming head of a massive dragon. The behemoth's eagerness for the easy meal in front of him is causing him to drool a bit. Although I'm having mixed feelings about certain parts of this illustration, I'm happy with it as a whole.
Description
In one of the outlandish dimensions of creation lies the mountains of Izin, the Dragon of the Shattered Skies. This creature is unable to fully manifest itself outside of its own dimension, giving it very few opportunities to taste the blood of mortals. However, the value of the essence of the immense creature, as well as its lustrous scales, occasionally attracts greedy mages to its realm. The mighty behemoth takes great delight in the chance to devour these foolhardy wanderers. However, the drooling of the dragon could eventually prove to be its downfall, as even the drool of the beast is extremely potent in arcane energy.
