Hopefully Nintendo hears enough to add more stuff through free DLC. If past characters like Dry Bones can return, then so can Koopa Kid.

Then again they totally ditched Birdo as a playable character.

I sure hope so. I fear that since Bowser Jr. showed up, Koopa Kid is no longer needed.

Birdo is one of Nintendo's controversial characters, maybe they don't want to use her too much.

The company that took over Mario Party (NDCube) was always really good at that, the characters felt really well animated and the personality can be seen everywhere in what they do. Dry Bones especially has a lot of great animations, his bones are frequently animated and moving around, they made him quite cute. I'm glad that Koopa and him were able to return, especially that Koopa was overdue for Mario Party (and only appeared in a weaker Mario Party) while Dry Bones was MIA since 8 despite being a favorite for a lot of characters. I'm glad it wasn't Mario v Bowser too, since Yoshi and Koopa is my favorite pairing in that series. Heck, the game recommends using Mario and Bowser as a team because their special dice compliment each other X3
