Is it any wonder that this part of the world has been used to film 'Game of Thrones' and 'James Bond'? ^__^
On a day where no plans had been made, and in keeping with my personality of being unable to stay on the ground for too long, I decided to find a mountain to climb. While I didn't get to the very top, since doing so would have meant tackling some very challenging slopes, indeed, I followed a gravel path to about halfway up the mountainside, and was rewarded with this view. It was just before 11am, and so the sun had yet to reach her full strength, and a moderate breeze offered sufficient cooling to counterbalance the warm. No sound but the wind blowing in the trees, and the whipping of the waves below entered my ears. The air was clean to breathe, a perfect mix of fresh sea breeze and bracing mountain air, with a dash of sweetness from some flower bushes nearby. To bring you the smallest piece of that enjoyment I felt through this picture would make me a very happy canine, indeed!
Hope you enjoy!

I rad somewhere that English is in Germanic languages family.
I often seen familiar words in texts on Croatian or other Slavic (I dont know these languages, but I cant understand something when I read of hear them). For example, in Czheh language exist word "dObre!" ("good!"), and this word remind me our "dobrO" ("goodness"). Does German language has words looks/sounds like English?

Right! I also learned Czech for a time, as I lived in the country for a couple of months, and I also see the similarities in the Slavic-based languages. Of course, there are more differences when you compare languages like Czech and Croatian (both coming from different branches of the Slavic language tree - West and South), whereas Czech and Slovak are mutually intelligible.
German has plenty of words that sound like English; a way to identify one's self in German is to say "Mein name ist X", which is strikingly similar to "My name is X" in English.
