"...so we can dress up as Back to the Future characters and re-enact one of the big scenes! It's one of my my favourite series!" Amethystine said.
"Which one's that?" Jaavik asked. "I don't remember that one."
"Oh, well, er... do you know the doctor from Rick & Morty?" Amethystine asked, intending to point out the similarity in looks.
Sovandar interrupted. "Obviously! It's the time travelling series. The one with the Doctor in it, right?"
Jaavik's eyes lit up. "Oh! Oh, I know the one you mean, yeah. So... I don't really have any costumes like that, I'll need to get some."
"Me either", Sovandar added. "I can get some props, too. Let's meet back here tomorrow!"
Before Amethystine could interject, the two kobolds were off in different directions. He shrugged; at least they were excited at the idea!
It wasn't until the next day as he laid out his Doc Brown costume, that he realised that they'd not agreed which characters they'd each cosplay as... too late to do much now, he reasoned, with only an hour or so left before they met up. He just hoped they wouldn't all have dressed up as the same character...
...as it turned out, that wasn't the part he should've worried about!
