This is my half of a badge trade with .

I didn't get the best scan of it (there's summore subtle shading here and there that didn't really get picked up), but eh. I spent all day colouring and cutting this out. It seriously took forever.

I cut out the paper around the character (except for that white border) and then glued some scrapbook paper behind it. I scanned it with a piece of red paper behind it so I wouldn't have to try to cut out the badge in Photoshop since it scans the top of the scanner otherwise and it's a pain in the butt. Thus the red paper border, it's not actually attached to the badge.

Inks, marker (which I really need practice with, I'm borrowing my boyfriend's for a little while), a little coloured pencil and gel pen, and a bit of white acrylic paint on bristol paper.

The face looked better before I coloured it, but I guess that's life. It's all that black! It eats up the ink and makes some places look a little strange.

Either way, while some parts were really hard (the cutting, ahhh!), this was a fun experiment!
