Ms. Amber was someone who approached us to be a subject some time ago. At the time, we were working on inanimate modifications, and testing the length and side effects such changes might have on a person. Initially the change was only meant to last around 24 hours, but it lasted much longer than we'd anticipated. Ms. Amber remained as an inanimate balloon doll version of herself for well over two weeks - far longer than we'd ever have intended, or recommended. The change back was slow, and Ms. Amber was closely monitored by our staff. In truth, we were worried that such an unintentionally long term change could have some side effects, of varying severity. Unfortunately, we were correct with our assumptions...
Two months later, and Ms. Amber still isn't her usual self. Her body is still rubbery, full of air, and covered in seams. The only thing that seems to have fully returned to her is her range of moment and speech. And even then, as much as I hate to say it, it appears her IQ has taken something of a dip. She's nice and pleasant enough but the staff agrees that there are a few changes to her mental capacity. Still though, a positive in all of this is that she seems happy and pretty easily amused. We're trying to help rehabilitate her, and at the moment she's serving as Dr. Masters' assistant, taking notes and working as her secretary. It's a way we can monitor and help her relearn some things. Although it appears this arrangement is putting some strain on Dr. Masters. I just hope she doesn't pop the poor girl before she fully recovers...
