Wow- Talk about a memory from my past....

I developed a serious crush on Penelope Pitstop when I was um, 9 I guess?
I think it lasted into my early teens.

It wasn't the thinly veiled bondage subject matter; I recall vividly it was the long blonde hair and voice that hooked me.

I wonder in retrospect if that series was a genuine subconcious influence on my later interests and tastes?
I had completely forgotten the series until last year, when I saw it on Boomerang for the first time since the late 70s in reruns.
