Voretober Day 8- Spirit
The panther god Doromini sat in his shrine, listening to his empty belly. He was a large black panther, with a muscular body. His shrine was on a tropical island. The other inhabitants of the island worshiped him, and he was always well fed.
A man in chains was pushed into the room. Doromini looked up as a guard unlocked the man’s shackles. “This was the one who was caught stealing.” The guard said. “Excellent. I’ve been so hungry.” Doromini said as the guard exited.
The panther walked over to the man. “I’d love to eat you, but I just ate a whole platter of food” the man whimpered. “s-so you’ll let me go?” Doromini giggled. “No. It just means I’m gonna have to eat your soul instead!”
The panther quickly pressed his lips to the man’s own. He smiled as he tasted the odd taste of soul. Soon the man’s body crumples to the floor, and Doromini burped. He put a hand on his belly, feeling the man’s spirit squirming around.
He giggled, laid back down, and closed his eyes.
