Jean’s personality is unfortunately shaped by many tragic events, stemming mostly from his early home life.

From the day that he turned 8, his mother spent hours upon hours conditioning him to believe that his appearance was the most important part of his life, and that he should always regard it as more vital than his personality. Needless to say, this hurt his social development, further aided by the cold, uncaring nature of his father, who rarely ever spoke with Jean, and treated him as worthless.

His mother’s obsession with vanity would lead him to be confused about how he fit into the world, making him become very intimidated by social interaction, and especially submissive to demands.

Throughout his childhood, up until he turned 17, his mother had a stranglehold on everything that he did, whether it was which friends he spent time with, or what he did with his free time. However, it was around age 16 when he began to resent this, and desired nothing more than to get away from his overbearing mother, his wish was granted on his 18th birthday, when his mother begrudgingly let go after a heated argument, effectively kicking him out of her home.

With nothing more than a phone and the clothes on his back, he felt free, yet terrified by the world around him. Simply put, the next few years of his life were not the most glamorous, as he spent about 3 years as a waiter in a somewhat nice, though mildly run-down restaurant. He managed quite a lot of attention from many of the females that he served, as well as some males, earning him a surprising bonus in tips, which aided him immensely in his finances.

Soon enough, his life would experience a turn for the best when he had garnered the attention of a manager in a modeling company who, although not looking for him, had immediately taken interest in employing him. Of course, the moment that the job was offered to him, Jean immediately accepted, being eager to leave his life of servitude.

The first few months of the new arrangement were awkward for him, as he came to terms with the agency that he was given as an adult, juxtaposed by the restrictions that were put on him by his mother years ago, when he modeled as a young boy.
