It doesn't get mentioned enough but there is allegedly the presence of Greek demigods and entities on the Islands. Two of these are self-claimed sisters, Mnemosyne and Lethe, They both nurture a separate but equally powerful river on opposing sides of their island of residence. Mnemosyne's river has the power to restore lost memories if you drink it's waters. Lethe's river in turn will remove memories when drank.
