**Giggles!**
Once again, thanks for Being patient and so supportive of me. Oh, yes ... and I'm still in the process of posting stuff here, whether it be my work or commissioned works ...
Oh wow! Thanks so much,
kurama-chan ... this is so awesome! :)
Like a lot of kids my age, I grew up with the AMT Models, especially the UFO one that glowed in the dark and had a scout ship, perfect for all sorts of adventures. The models Pop got for me really got loved and played with for so many years ... surprisingly enough I was gentle enough to keep them in good shape. I believe they got broken in a move from one street to the other because Mom packed them and wasn't thinking. She was so upset when she found out what happened.
It's funny that Kurama-chan put Taffy in front of a window like this. The Sunrise house in Lexington Park, Maryland (which is no longer there) had a huge bay window that I played in, often with the models that Pop built and often when Pop was due to come home from deployment or just going to the Naval base or the local "Stop and Rob!" store downtown. This particular one was done with a few other models that Pop built before coming down from Lexington Park to St. Simons Island for the last time when the Sunrise house was finally sold.
Thanks again, my friend!
