Fantastic shading! Out of curiosity, how did you feather out the fur on the hand?

The way that I colour, I use three seperate layers (for each shade of a particular colour), for each section (arm, face, legs, top, etc.). Anyway, in this case I put down the base colour/shade (which happens to be the lighter of the two). then ontop of that I work with the 'top' colour/shade. I merge just the three layers of the top layer (having already merged the lighter shade layers into one layer). From there I use the smudge tool and feather out the straight (and to me awkward) line left from using the 'top' colour/shade.
