And technically.. there's nothing lore wise stating a ghost CANT revive an Iliksni as a 'guardian' really... hell, the traveler stayed with them for gods knows how long before us; and only made the ghosts with us as a last pre-death resort.

There's some new lore about the a few eliksni joining the vanguard so there's hopes

It's possibly to tie into the 'Dark Guardians" coming in the later expansions or D3 that's been hinted at with the Drifter's stuff. Would make sense for Iliksni to kinda go "Well, fuck; uhh mind if we hide behind this lovely wall of yours?" and for ghosts to get less picky.

Rumor is he'll be the new hunter vanguard, because of the vanguard dare takes effect that he's now alive again, but the lore with the queen breakers bow and Lord of wolves for d2 talk about the fallen captain you can save on titan when you do the quest for the rate king, he's part of a guardian fireteam now

And yhea.. I think people knew it'd somehow be Uldren from the start of Forsaken.. the fucker used Cayde's gun exclusively through it, and wears a cape n hood..
Still gonna spit at him every time I go back to the tower though if he DOES become part of the Vanguard; memory loss or not.

Speaking of Lord of Wolves.. can't help but feel they ruined it in D2.. the perk where if you kill something it goes full auto.. just wastes already limited ammo. Woulda preferred it boosting damage a bit, or maybe turning it into a solid slug shot x.x

I love this fallen character (granted this was made a year ago so kinda late to the party) but I love how they look and I still want to have fallen be playable. One day perhaps.

Very much agreed, since they have been horribly crippled by the gurdians and reduced to more desperate scavengers than they already were.
