A-10 Funnies 17
Since its Inktober, I wanted to also do another A-10 Funnies strip.
Cat owners know too well, that sound of their cat puking up a massive hairball. Or better yet, owners STEPPING in said hairball.
And Tank Hunters are no different, though you might stub your toe. And
OldTiger still have to dispose of that mess. I hope he has sawdust too.

Waaay too close to home. One blew chunks—CHUNKS—all over the stairs yesterday and this afternoon I spent a half-hour on my knees with spot removing ‘chine on both upstairs and downstairs carpets. All four indoor denizens were barn strays and there’s two on the porch who’re playing us like violins. You’d think we’d learn.
In all my 40 plus years of owning iguanas, only once in all that time I had one blow chunks due to contaminated food.
My upstairs neighbors have 2 cats, and at least every other day I hear them bitch over a cat hoarking up a hairball, and somebody usually stepping in it in the night.

There’s cats and there’s cats. Mad Max, my Alaskan-born tabby, never scratched anything but his post, never dressed a kill on the carpet, only on the kitchen linoleum, never puked, kept the vermin scarce (I think I spent about 5 bucks on cat food the 3 years I was in Fairbanks), survived in a culvert for about 4 days during an interior Alaska blizzard, could kick the ass of a dog twice his size and died at the ripe old age of 22. I’ll cherish his memory ‘til the day I die.
Pets are like that, I've had dogs and then theres 'Dogs', I've had 3 dogs in my life that I will always cherish because of their loyalty. I've also had a couple dogs I view with disgust years later. (I'm deathly allergic to cats!)
Though an old neighbor in Tucson had a cat I actually considered cool, He was a large Himalayan named Driveway , had the bravery to even face down a car without budging (thus his name). yet oddly every morning would sit in my window sill and had a stare down with my Iguana who took his morning basking place in the window.
Driveway actually got inside my apartment a few times, would entertain himself watching my fish or birds, often would smack the bird cage to freak the birds, "Bird TV" as it was called. Driveway also adopted my Iguana when he sat outside and would tongue wash the lizards back and neck, initially freaking the lizard to almost attacking the cat (6 foot iguana) but then relaxing at the cats rough tongue. Driveway would also kick the ass off any feral cat that entered the yard that approached 'His iguana'. The Iguana thought nothing on attacking any feral cat that got too close and Driveway not present.

Oil and coolant in the carpet, yech! Tore out all the carpet in my parents' house years ago. It was old, full of cigarette smoke, and giving one of our cats skin issues! Unfortunately the tile that replaced it is cheap crap, peeling, chipping and cracking. Still, easier to clean cat-puke off of than carpet!
