I decided to do something a little different for this prompt, and I’m pretty happy with this. It’s an illustration of a colossal water dragon closing in on an unsuspecting merchant ship.

Description

There are many rumors of colossal creatures in the open seas, including the Legend of the Seaslicer. The Seaslicer is a gargantuan draconic creature that is believed to roam in the tropical waters of the East, spreading fear throughout those who sail the seas. The Seaslicer is known to feed primarily on whales, but it is rumored to enjoy devouring seafaring vessels. Some tales even say that it has the ability to speak to people using arcane methods, such as telepathy. However, the reports of this creature have changed over the years, as the initial reports made it seem signifigantly smaller, and far, far slimmer. It appears that as time has worn on, it has progressively gained blubber. However, despite the fact that it’s starting to resemble the whales which it feeds upon, this creature is undeniably a force to be feared.
