Japanese people are so fortunate that they have such wonderful seed companies like Takii and Sakata.... Today I read a catalogue from Takii Seed in university library, and couldn't believe the range of species and cultivars of plants they offered(though their price was somewhat unappealing).

By the way, are those plants behind the plug tray Bletilla striata? I think I see a Ponerorchis graminifolia on the right end of the row....

OMG you're right!Yes I have some collection of Bletilla striata(common type,coelrea,alba,albomarginata),and some Ponerorchis graminifolia that I grew from seeds.

I have a Korean friend working here in Japan and he said that this country was great because he could get everything he want.

Yes,and...I failed the company selection of Takii today.And I had the first job interview of Sakata,too.Still waiting of the conclusion.

On buying seeds and other propagation materials online, I have never tried that before, but heard that whole procedure is too complicated and expensive.... And in unlucky cases, seeds or bulbs get caught in quarantine. Still, I would like to try one day.
