Many of you will have already seen my reindeer characters, Vixen and Cupid, in some of my other pictures and commissions. They were, however, just two of 9 characters I created for cards and newsletters that I've been sending to friends and family for quite a few years now. They are named after all the reindeer in the classic poem "The Night Before Christmas", plus one.
While Christmas is some time away, my attendance at a free-play arcade event in Croydon last night, combined with Apes doing a lovely commission of Vixen this month made me feel that now was the time to share this classic picture.
Who do we have in the picture? Well...
TOP LEFT: Dasher and Cupid play "Deertona USA" a mite too aggressively.
TOP CENTRE: Rudolph enjoys playing the all-time classic "Prong".
TOP RIGHT: Donner K.O.'s Blitzen on "Street Rutter".
BOTTOM LEFT: Dancer and Prancer are past masters of playing "Prance Prance Revolution"!
BOTTOM RIGHT: Comet and Vixen try out "House of the Deer", but its shocking imagery causes Vixen to do an excellent Fay Wray impression...
