Well I had never said I was gonna make the whole thing watercolors or acrylics. I had only said that I may try using them on the background because i hate coloring large areas with colored pencil :B and I actually had ended up using a wash of watercolor. but I only did one because the paper had already warped a little after just one coat and I didn't want to risk losing the work I had already done by adding a second :/

If you tape it down using papertape (not the sticky kind, but the kind that you make wet) then you can preserve the stretch of the paper.
In that technique, you first tape down the paper, then wet it through with a broad brush and just water, let it tighten up and then add your wash when the paper is moist (not wet) :3
