Well he was very much disliked when he showed up. This is the first time someone has ever asked me to draw him since. XD

I'll be honest, I really liked Ghassan when he first showed up, I'm sad to see from another comment that he wasn't super liked.
He's cool, and I do hope we get to see more of him! This picture of him is quite refined.

Yeah, i wanted him to come as awkward towards others and a bit too proud of his background. As in he means well but is awful in his ways to say so. I guess i didn't do a good job. Unless people just disliked him for not being Ben? XD

I think you did just fine with expressing that, that's kinda how he came off as to me, sadly I cannot speak for other people with this.
Plus, he's playing his part, he's in a position of power with some measure of pride in his race and his culture (which extends to him wishing to mentor Mayte since she's been isolated so long). He also has a duty to uphold back in his homeland, so it makes sense that he cannot be there 24/7 like the others can.
