I don't often post RL photos, but I really liked how this one came out, especially with a cameraphone. I was sitting on the sofa with my laptop when Beef (real name Batou, but we call him Beef) hopped up to say hello. My phone was within reach so I snapped this picture, even with the well-lit sliding glass door beyond. You can also see my dog Casey curled up on the far end of the couch.

Poor Beef. He was adopted by my roomie  tugrik about a year ago, but he's had a host of medical problems, which have ultimately proved insurmountable, and the vets finally ran out of options a few weeks ago. He's a happy and purry cat, so for now we're keeping him as comfy as we can until he stops being happy and starts suffering.
