I had the genuine pleasure of seeing the great Bette Midler on Broadway in Hello Dolly this past summer. And for those of you who don't know, The Divine Ms. M is also known for providing the voice of Georgette the poodle in Oliver and Company. Although I didn't get to meet her, I thought it would be cute having my friend  lulu draw me meeting Georgette at the stage door (as if I was actually meeting Bette Midler herself) and getting an autograph. A tribute to a truly legendary actress, comedienne, and performer. This was definitely a performance that comes about once in a lifetime and as a Broadway fan, it means a whole lot to me.
