Event 1 - First Encounter, First Friend - Bright Luna Blue
Gabriel Sanchez, a middle school boy, ventured to the Manor at night, to write a story for his school newspaper on the terrifying legends surrounding the mysterious estate. Not much of a believer of the paranormal, part of him was really curious to meet a ghost face to face, if they did exist at all. The spooky, dark halls at the Manor were silent. Dust in the air was the only movement he saw, as far as the light from his phone could reveal. It was then he saw a soft blue light down the corridor. Approaching carefully, he saw what looked to be a translucent girl sitting in the cobwebbed corner. She looked... sad.
"Hello?" Gabriel spoke cautiously.
The girl lifted her head and locked eyes with the boy. Gabriel expecting something to scare him, but instead saw gentleness in her ruby eyes that stared back at him.
"H-hello..." She replied in a sweet tone, "Uh, hello! Hi!" Energy picked up in her voice, a slight smile could be seen.
"Are you... a Ghost?" Gabriel was like a deer caught in a headlight. He couldn't believe what he was seeing as the spirit began to hover from the floor. He should have been frightened, but there was a presence about her that seemed almost enlightening, something good.
"Oh, yes. I am! Not a mean one, of course, I... I'm sorry. No one has ever approached me before. They always run away before I could say anything.... Keep it together, Luna! We finally have a guest, don't be rude!!" Gabriel seemed entranced by the ghost girl. Her blue hair waved slowly as if underwater. The glow she gave off, it was a comforting light. Any spirits the boy has seen either online, in movies, or TV shows always look distorted, eerily faded with grotesque expressions. Yet this one was different...
Why is she glowing so bright? The blue emitting from her, why does it feel almost warm? How can a spirit like this occupy the grounds of the infamous Manor?
Gabriel wanted to learn more about this mysterious ghost girl.
Testing the waters with this little comic feature Luna the Ghost Girl. I have a mini-web series story revolving around these characters might be fun to flesh out. Definitely going to keep the series short compared to other ongoing ones I have of course, but maybe... this story will be a nice change of pace. :)
Also October, so wanted to draw some spooky things, but also wanted to draw more cute ghost girls, so win-win? lol
Anyhoo,
