I decided to do something a little more steampunk (but still fantasy-like) for this one. I’m really happy with this one!

Description

One of the most unique varieties of automatons is the Timekeeper. The purposes of these machines vary greatly, from the mundane to the magical. Some of them are simply used as an interesting clock to entertain guests with during banquets. Others are designed to be somewhat more... interesting. Arcanist are known to modify models of these automatons to wield a rudimentary form of time-manipulative magic. In addition, some of these strange constructs have achieved sentience. Although most of the sentient Timekeepers simply decide to go out on their own or stay in the company of their creators, some have been known to take revenge on their former owners. The methods of vengeance vary widely, but the most notorious form of retribution is the Puppet Treatment, in which a Timekeeper forces a mortal into a time-locked, subservient state. These mortals will be forced to perform the trivial tasks that they forced upon the automatons in the past, and they are subject to the same respect they treated the robots with - for better or for worse. Although they may be friendly most of the time, wise men know to fear the clock.
