This is my first fursuit. And we're trying to get it done by halloween.
You seem to be an expert on fursuit making. But before I ask you something, please keep in mind that;
-More foam will be added to make it look more wolf like. This is a WIP not a finished piece.
-The picture quality is rubbish due to my camera acting up.

It can work! You have to be careful with it but you can make it work. I love it when people try and make something a different way than ALL the people who do the exact same thing. My advice would be cut off the lip of the hat. Are you planning on foaming it out? I will give you advice on anything you want to know.
Yeah we are foaming most of the forehead. The muzzle were foaming so it comes up a bit rather then sloping down awkwardly!
Make the the area between the eyes more wolf shaped and the cheeks; doing the same thing.
If you know how we could attach the tail (in my gallery) to a normal belt, and having it be really secure that would be great

Well usually you sew some elastic loops to the end but if push comes to shove you can hot glue the top closed but leave a fairly large lip sticking out on top and wrap that fur lip around the belt and hot glue t in place. I would not recommend it but it would work for short term use.
