This first drawing I've attempted to properly shade, kind of ironic given my name and all.

Sirocco the Braixen lost his only family - his mother - when he was only a little Fennekin. Struggling to survive on his own, the young fox was found by a tribe of Marowak, followers of the Alolan traditions. Sharing their command of fire and the experience of losing one's mother, the tribe saw a kindred spirit in the vulpine creature and took him in as one of their own. When he eventually evolved into a Braixen, his adoptive family taught him their traditional techniques, and bestowed him with a skull mask of his own- one belonging to a deceased warrior who had no children to receive it.

Gonna edit this one a bit more and swap out the submission tomorrow. I can see a few areas that could be fixed.
