In a large ski resort.
Ollie: The weather is really good today.
Kod: Here is really big.
Ollie: Yeah, btw your ski board looks so cool.
Kod: Yours too.
Ollie: Ok, let's take the cable car first.
Ollie and Kod sat together on the cable car to the top of the mountain.

It was a very beautiful winter day so Kod and his mate Ollie decided to travel to a ski paradise to spend there the weekend. They traveled to a really huge and famous ski place into the mountans. The trip was really long but when they finally there the couple was amazed from the ski hotel.

Ollie: "Wow thus place is so huge and cool!"

Kod: "Yeah, this is a very famous ski paradise, i was here once with my parents when i was a kid! Let's check in and then we can go to slice down to the hills!

The boys checked in went in there room. The hotel was amazed Ollie, especially the common room with the cozy fireplace. The boys taked down their bags and rest a little before they conquered the ski slope's.

Kod: "So Ollie are you ready?"

Ollie: "Well i still scared a little cause i never do snowboarding before but with you i know i can do it!"

Kod: "Thats the spirit! LETS GO TO RIDE....."

The boys dressed up and they went up with the ski lifts to the first field.

Kod: "Okey then i go first then when i arrived at down it's your turn but first use just a normal ski equipment!"

Ollie: "Okey babe!"

Kod: " Okey then HERE I COME MOUNTAINS......GET OUT OF MY WAY EVERYBODY, THE SNOWBOARD KING IS ARRIVED! 3..2...1... GOOOOOOOO!

And Kod slip down on his snowboard at a dizzying speed, at the half of the way he even do a salto with his snowboard too. Ollie just watched him , he's jaws are dropped down when his mate do it the amazing trick and he arrived at down without any problem.

Kod: "OKEY OLLIE IT'S YOUR TURN! DONT BE A SCARY CAT, THIS IS JUST THE ROOKIE FIELD!"

Ollie "OKEY KOD....I'M COMING...."

Ollie begun to slip down and he do it it very good but in the end he overturned and fell in the snow.

Kod: "AHAHAHAHAAAAA....."

Ollie: "That is not funny , brahhhhh...."

Kod: "Dont worry kitty, everyone is can overturn sometimes! Come lets do it again!"

The couple slip down again and again in the day and Ollie is learned very fast how he can ski without any overturn.

Kod: "Wow mate you learn very fast!"

Ollie: "Thanks love but....now i want to learn snowboarding too just like how you do it!"

Kod: "Hehe it's very great but i learned snowboarding for years.....but i think you can handle it! Then lets go again!"

They went up again and Ollie used Kod's other snowboard, he stand up on it.

Kod: "Are you ready?"

Ollie: "Yes! Lets go mate....."

Kod countered back and in the end they started slipping at the same time.

Kod: "WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO YEEEEEAHHHHH BABY......ARE YOU OKEY?"

Ollie: "I"M FINE....THIS IS AWSOME......"

They arrived at the same time.

Ollie: "Lets do it again Kod, i feel the adrenalin in myself....."

Kod: "Then what we are waiting for it? Let's go again....."

And the couple was slip down again and again and again at all afternoon.

Kod: "Huhhhhh that was great but i'm exhausted! Lets go in...."

Ollie: "I agreed and i'm start being hunry too!"

Kod and Ollie gathered their things and went back to the skihotel. After the good dinner at the dining room they spent themselves a mug of hot chocolate, hugging each other and enjoyed each other's company in the front of the cozy little fireplace.

Ollie: come on ! Are you afarid that you're gonna lose again ?
Kod: not this time *stand it the ski and ready for the ride*
Ollie: thats the spirit. Now one, two... *jump up and slide down the hill*
Kod: cheater ! *jump down and slide after Kod*
[After sliding down the hill which is covered by snow, Kod was the winner]
Kod: hehe i win ur cheater *giggle cheerfully*
Ollie: yea yea. I wont go easy next time
Kod: sure sure. Wanna grab a hot chocolate ?
Ollie: sure. *grabs a tin bottle and give Kod and himself a cup to pour the choco out* cheers
Kod: cheers *take a sip at the hot chocolate* [some chocolate got on his nose]
Ollie: *kiss his nose where the chocolate is* baka Kod.
Kod: *blush hard and run away as he head towards the rest house*
Ollie: hey wait up ! *run after him*

Moving up to the north has its perks and its heinous outreaches, Ollie and Kod both agreed that moving would be good in the long run of having to deal with the circumstances regarding Kods promotion at work. The two were set in their ways and raised enough to end up in central Canada and got themselves a nice house in the city.

Ollie: god its fucking freezing….

Kod: calm down babe, we cant just keep living in the west forever plus living there was costing too much.

Ollie: but why Canada, theres nothing to do here.

Kod: no no theres plenty, we live three minutes from the galleria as well as several slopes ready for the shredding.

OIllie: I shred waves not snow.

Kod: come on we agreed, we needed to leave to afford better things as well as keep my job.

Ollie: seemed so fast, selling our place after only a year.

Kod: I know the move was sudden from the tropics to the tundra, but look at the note we got already.

Ollie: whats that?

Kod: we got one another in our arms.

Ollie hugs him smiling as he chuckles setting down the last box.

Ollie: so corny, maybe ill get a part time job to keep up from the boredom, plus extra cash will help the house.

Kod: that’s the spriit, theres plenty of shops around here to choose from.,

Ollie: perhaps after we settle in, I want to hit the streets tomorrow.

Kod: sounds good to me sweetie, but remember to be careful, there can be things lurking.

Ollie: its Canada, whats the worst that can happen?

Kod: someone offers you healthcare.

Ollie: im given a free joint?

Kod: justin Bieber makes a new album.

Both look shuddering at the idea of it and shake it off cooking dinner and falling asleep soon after. The following day, Kod goes out to work, as Ollie walks into the town and sees whats up, simple stores from their old town, same old atmosphere, the feeling made Ollie at ease, given much of their friends were leaving the tropical islands for real living regardless of obligation or chance, they got tired of it and frankly with tourists coming in wrecking the area, they were better off.

Ollie: holy shit, someone picking up trash, and another being nice to an old cashier, and another patiently waiting for their turn in starbucks.

Ollie looks around smiling at everyone, as they welcome him into town. The bakery offered him a free croissant and happily took it, as a welcome to the neighborhood thing. The air was fresh and the new look of life seemed to inspire greatly.

Walking into a store, Ollie finds a snowboard on sale along with another that fit them perfectly, holding it he felt the memories of crashing waves flood his head and gets a smile on his face.

Clerk: oh hello there little guy, you seen to need assistance?

Ollie: just browsing and was curious if you really had these on sale?

Clerk: yes 80% off for both and its buy two get gear free from any set in the overstock.

Ollie: I got 50 on me, is that enough?

Clerk: absolutely!!

Going up, he pays for the gear and gets out the store looking at his new gear, and pondered what he did.

Ollie: oh boy, did I really just do this, am I really gonna go snowboarding or am I gonna just waste money again…..

Going home he sees Kods car parked and gets worried, going in he sees him holding a kitten and looks at him fondly as it crawls over purring at his leg and meowing softly.

Ollie: okay…..what?

Kod: sorry, he looked so cute in the shelter near work I had to get him a home, and work got a blackout due to maintenance so half day with full pay.

Ollie: oh that’s wonderful sweetie, but can we afford a kitten right now?

Kod: better than getting a puppy, they are low maitenece and youll be home a lot more than me so it works out.

Ollie: id be mad for not consulting me but hes too darn cute to even argue on the matter.

The two chuckle seeing the little kitten bob his head on the ground too big for his little body and pick him up going to the tub and setting him in with a small bed, dish of milk and food. The night was pretty easy going as they ate Chinese and watched total drama island laughing at the horrible stuff happening and switch to deadman wonderland for some gory action.

Ollie: is it bad I love this?

Kod: you binged akame ga kill in one day, this is nothing compared to that gore fest of corrupted government.

Ollie: true, btw if your off tommorow wanna go snow boarding?

Kod: thought you didn’t like this place?

Ollie: one day here made me see that friendly faces and sweet demeanor is all that is needed to feel welcomed, no one was pushing, shoving, or spewing out insults for bumping into each other. I think I may like it more than the tropics, but only time can tell.

Kod: im so glad sweetie, now lets rest and relax for now, work isn’t happening cause of the maintenance, so lets spend the day shredding the slopes.

The following day, they spent it snowboarding at a local hillside and quickly got accustomed to the snow as opposed to the waves and spend much of it doing tricks around the hills finally settling down and drinking coffee by the fire in their home.

Ollie: okay I cave in, this place is actually really awesome!!

Kod: told you cutie, now don’t worry a thing about it lets just relax and enjoy the night, I know it was last minute but I wouldn’t of chosen any other person to spend my life with here.

Ollie: love you silly feline.

Kod: love you too sweetie.

Kod was learning to ski, he was not very experienced but during one of his mountain vacations, he met Ollie.
This snow leopard despite his young age, he was already a true expert in skiing, he had an innate talent and skill.
Ollie offered to give lessons and demonstrations to Kod, he immediately accepted and after some time, Kod learned to ski much better than before.
Every year Kod goes on vacation in the Japanese mountains to meet Ollie, between the two has established a great friendship even if Ollie considers Kod something much more special for him.
They have skied together again this year.
"WOOOOOAH!" Ollie shouted as he went down with his snowboard.
"Now I feel really good!" Kod screamed as he too threw himself down the slope with his snowboard.
They arrived at the end of the track and decided to go and drink a hot chocolate at the nearest inn.
That evening, Kod went to his room, in a few days the holidays would be over for him and he would have to go home.
Ollie did not want Kod to leave, but Kod also had a job and a family waiting for him.
"Can I do something else for you?" Ollie always asked every evening.
Ollie had never been so strange.
Perhaps, Ollie felt love for Kod?
Ollie had never fallen in love so easily, he lived with his grandparents and his younger brothers in the mountains, he did not have parents, he was already an adult despite his young age and for him Kod was something too important, almost a figure paternal but there was something for which he did not stop thinking about Kod.
"No, thank you but it's all right" Kod said every time with a smile, shortly after he greeted Ollie and went to sleep.
Maybe that was really a great love, maybe Ollie was really in love with Kod even though he was a little older, but Ollie did not matter.
Ollie did not want to stay a few months longer without Kod, he decided that he would convince him to return to the mountains for New Year.
So they would still have skied and they would be together.
And maybe Ollie wanted to confess his love to Kod.
