Recently I lost someone very close to me. She was my teacher, my mentor, a fellow artist, and my friend. She inspired countless peeps to pursuit their creative dreams and live their life to fullest. I wish I had the chance to let her know how my life has been this past year.

So many feels from this, sorry to hear we have amazing people who influence our lives and help us through our lives and give us amazing wisdom and guidance. Sending many hugs, may they rest in peace and be remembered by many as i'm sure they were an amazing person. *hug*
There's always something untold after the sudden death. Last few words of respect, stuck infront the gates of the world of silence.
Burns the heart, really, that you had no chance to say your goodbyes, but, such as with broken love, you gotta burn the tails of regret, and carry on all the effort, the lost person had put in you with those years spent together.
The message on the wall says it all pretty much.

IT is sad to lose someone you were close with. What happened to you has happened to me. Always let those you love know that you do. Cherish the time you have with them while you have that time. Never take any opportunity for granted.
The animation is lovely and very emotional.

Oh god. I am so sorry to hear this, Jib. But I'm sure she is proud of the adorable art you have made, the countless animations you have done, and how you always try to spread joy to the world. If anything, I'm sure she is proud of any student she had. My condolences, and I hope you will be okay.
The animation is very deeply moving and emotional too.

It is said that the Lakota phrase, "Hoka Hey!" means, "It is a good day to die."
That's not what it means. The literal translation, is "Hold fast: there is more!"
The spiritual translation is, "Stick around, things are just getting good!"
So when you think of her, remember that she has moved on to the next stage of existence. What we see as the journey's end, is for her, just the beginning.
So in her memory, have no fear of saying, "Hoka Hey!"
Because where she goes, so go all of us in time.

Right now, everything probably sucks: The world feels grayed out and unusuallly heavy for a while.
But a small part of her will always stay with you. Don't forget that.
She will be in your memories, in the way you act and in your art.
And she won't be forgotten.
*Hugs

I had someone who was my counselor and mentor during my years in high school - the 1980's was a very strange time for a teenager like myself, and she helped me in many ways through the tough times in 1982-84 and helped me succeed as i went on to college and Cal. She passed away 10 years ago, but she is very much a part of me to this day. Joe G Bear
Aw. My sincerest condolences. Just please know if you were a friend to them and did your best to show your appreciation when you could I'm sure they knew. You're reaching out and inspiring others and helping folks love each other more. That's a very special thing and the best way you could possibly return the kindnesses they showed you.
